Laser Skin Lesion Removal

At our Aesthetic Medicine Clinic, it is possible to easily and quickly remove small skin formations. The procedures are performed by aesthetic medicine nurses working at our clinic.

Skin tags are benign skin formations that may develop during the aging process; usually they are the same color as the skin or slightly darker. Skin tags can be of various sizes, but usually they are a few millimeters in size. Skin tags are typically located in body folds – on the neck, in the armpits and/or groin area.

Before coming to the procedure:
If you wish to come for the removal of birthmarks or skin formations, a prior dermatovenerologist appointment at our aesthetic medicine clinic is required, during which the skin doctor will perform an examination to assess the condition of skin and pigment, dermoscopy, siascopy if necessary, and determine the best removal method based on your individual characteristics.

What to consider after the procedure?
– Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks before the procedure (including tanning beds)
– After laser skin formation removal procedure, a crust will form on the skin
– Crusts come off naturally within 7–10 days, please do not remove them yourself. Avoid getting the removal area wet for 1 day.
– Avoid visiting saunas and spas for 2 weeks after the procedure
– Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for 2 weeks after the procedure

Contraindications

– Contraindications for laser removal of skin formations are determined by the dermatovenerologist during the pre-procedure appointment;
– Inform the doctor if you have blood clotting problems, epilepsy, cancer, keloid scar formation, allergies, medications being taken, etc.;
– The procedure is not performed on persons under 18 without parental or guardian consent;
– The procedure is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding
