Dermal Fillers
Description
Among the advantages of dermal fillers, the long-lasting effect stands out. The duration of results is always individual, but fillers can last over a year. With fillers, the effect is immediately visible after the procedure, and usually there is no recovery period. The filler procedure itself is quick and usually takes less than an hour; numbing cream is also used for pain relief, making the procedure as comfortable as possible for the client.
Fillers effectively help eliminate and fill surface wrinkles and model facial contours, achieving a more youthful appearance without surgical intervention. Another advantage of fillers is their suitability for eliminating cosmetic defects, increasing lip volume, changing the shape of the nose or cheekbones, and removing bags under the eyes.
You may be wondering how fillers actually work? It is an injection procedure – using a syringe, a gel-like filler substance is injected under the skin, which is either synthetic or natural. These filler gels are inherently safe for health, containing hyaluronic acid to bind water and add elasticity to the skin. Thanks to the gel consistency, the filler forms a cushion under the skin, which fills the wrinkle-caused groove and adds volume to the desired facial area.
Regarding duration, it should be noted that the effect of fillers begins to fade when the body has managed to dissolve and eliminate the filler substance.
Fillers are also ideal for filling deep wrinkles. While botulinum toxin is more suitable for fine mimic wrinkles, fillers are best for deeper wrinkles, including:
– nasolabial folds;
– nasal and tear troughs;
– frown lines between the eyes on the bridge of the nose;
– forehead wrinkles;
– wrinkles around the lips;
– other fine, deeper wrinkles.
In cooperation between client and beauty specialist, fillers can be used as a standalone preparation or combined with botulinum toxin treatment. All wishes for achieving the best client satisfaction can be discussed with the beauty specialist, who always considers the client’s skin characteristics, condition, and desired expectations and results!
By modeling facial shape and contours with fillers, volume can also be added as age-related changes appear and cheekbones can be accentuated. With aesthetic injections, the client can lift cheekbones, improve the jawline, restore facial oval and eliminate various cosmetic deficiencies or defects, such as scars.
The decision regarding procedure suitability is made by the Aesthetic Medicine Clinic doctor; the procedure is always preceded by a doctor’s consultation. Aesthetic medicine nurses perform injection procedures under the doctor’s supervision.
